We Dream your realities.
Welcome to Most Improbable – a sanctuary for creative eccentrics.
Our name, Most Improbable, isn't merely a moniker, it is a philosophy rooted in our belief in embracing the extraordinary and the unlikely. We're not just a company, we're a collective of creative minds relentlessly navigating the improbable, turning impossibilities into beautiful realities.
Marketing, book publishing, immersive theater, immersive events, gaming networks, conventions, dream-centric events – we're all about fostering creativity. For us, it's not just about the end product; the journey of creation is equally rewarding. It's our way of bonding with friends, unifying our community, and simply, experiencing the joy of creation.
Our work is an exploration into the world of 'nothing-to-something'. As creators, every project is a journey of self-discovery, an opportunity to learn, grow, and build memories. We're not just crafting unique art, we're creating a whole new world, our world.
We create works that resonate, that speak to the soul. We create to share our perspectives, feelings, and thoughts. We want our creations to be more than just art; we want them to become an integral part of the viewer's life. But beyond the resonance, our work is an escape. Immersed in creation, we liberate ourselves from worldly constraints, and fearlessly express our creativity. We invite like-minded people into our creative journey, to create something immersive, unforgettable, and truly original.
At Most Improbable, every project is not just an emotionally captivating experience for our audience, but also a deeply enriching experience for us as creators. It's our way of defying the ordinary, pushing the boundaries of what's probable, and creating the extraordinary.
In essence, we are Most Improbable because we are an improbable group of creators.
We live for the improbable, we thrive in it.
Who we are.
Founder: Catie Griffin
Catie Griffin started her career as a journalist. Graduating with a Masters from Columbia Graduate School of Journalism, she immediately dove into the fast paced world of NYC media. After realizing that she enjoyed dungeon maps more than magazines, she began her foray into the fantastical. Since then, Catie has written for tabletop games, short story compilations, audio productions, and live events. With over 11 published books and countless articles under her belt, she's always looking for the next project.
Not satisfied with the written word, Catie also creates events that take the story off of the page and into the living world. She has worked on events that range from the post-apocalyptic to the modern, immersing attendees in new experiences.
Catie has previously worked in the events management industry full time. From charity events, to concerts and theatrical productions, to high-end weddings, Catie spends nearly every day making clients’ dream events a reality.

relations manager: tobias mccurry
Tobias McCurry has been involved in the event production industry since 2012, and has invested much of his time into a myriad of aspects surrounding show running and immersive storytelling.
Starting in 2012, Tobias began founding and running an independent theatre company as their Director of Operations, and likewise juggled professional acting while working for several venues as a stage technician. In 2016, after appearing on national television’s Steampunk’d, he went on to become an associate producer of one of the largest Steampunk conventions in the US. At this time, starting his own prop fabrication business, Spring Heeled Studios, seemed the most logical course of action as he began to tour conventions across America as a guest, keynoting on costuming and prop creation.
In 2017, Tobias helped found Dystopia Rising: Northern California, acting as their Director of Logistics and has been actively involved in various Dystopia Rising productions since such a time.
In the current, Tobias works as an artistic mercenary and personality-for-hire, often being talked into terrible, yet hilarious ideas which are nevertheless pursued with gusto, je ne sais quoi, some soup digiorno and oftentimes a margarita.
Operational manager: Jeff Thelen
One day Jeff will not be so busy making everything work, and answering everyone’s questions, that he will be able to take the time to write his own bio blurb.
Until that point you should know that Jeff comes from a long history of immersive theater events, larp network organization, and logic / data driven decision making.
There are facts, figures, and often times ice cream and energy drinks.
